can anyone with JL 500/1 amp experience please tell me if my set up is wrong anywhere? my subs keep turning on and off whenever i hit a bump. if its on it would shut off until i hit another bump to trigger it to turn back on...or i could just hit the sub box and it would do the same thing....ive checked the wires many time and i dont think it is that... please look at the pics below and advise...

I would agree with Sasq, sounds like a bad ground, tighten them up, and check to see that it is grounded properly.

If all is ok outside, it may have nothing to do with the connection and could be a fault with the internals of the amp itself. The relay switch inside may be malfunctioning or some other connections. Do you have another amp to try?

i actually might switch the whole set up with my buddy just to see if its the car or idrive that has something to do with it...i am really hoping it isnt the amp cause its a pretty good amp...this has been a problem for about a week now, starting to make me think it isnt worth it anymore and just uninstall everything...=(
