I thought it would be a nice to install my Hamann replica splitter and an ACS style roof spoiler today!
So I did, except the spoiler
. I started so late that got time only for splitter because of Finland - Slovenia hockey game! I'll install the roof spoiler tomorrow then
.
The splitter has been made by Schmiedmann Germany, and they call it "Hockenheim". Actually it's a straight copy of a Hamann splitter, but covered in carbon fiber. I ordered the splitter at winter, and I've been waiting for the spring to get it installed. I'm going to take it off for the next winter though...
Here's a short story about the installation with pics:
Attachment items that I reserved for install. I didn't need the adhesive tape however.

My little own workshop
.

I cleaned the underside of the bumper with a dish washing detergent and rinsed it with water.

Same treatment for the splitter.

Then I put some protective adhesive tape to protect the bumper.

Installed. It was an easy job, just fixing and leveling the splitter required some caution.

Five self tapping screws with washers per side was enough to attach the splitter sturdily. Like I said, I didn't need the tape.
So I did, except the spoiler

Splitter looks sweet!
Do you have any other CF on the car? Or any plans?
It's hard to tell in the pics, but I wonder if only one CF piece would look good.
