RPI Axle back exhaust system. It's basically a straight pipe from the rear axle back to the muffler.

I was wondering how I would go about painting the tips, while maintaining the "RPI" logos on the tops of the tips.

 

Are the logos painted or carved on the tip?
As you can see, there's a "FOX" text on my tips, and they are still visible.

 

They look to be either painted or powdercoated on. Therein lies the problem, how do you sand and paint around them. The logo is fairly complex too.

 

I guess that would be impossible to sand around them...

 

Ok, I installed the exhaust yesterday.

However, I got about 80% done, and I have to install the diffuser and align the right side tips correctly.

It has taken 5 hours for now, and will be spending few more maybe today. There was not many problems, only figuring out the right side brackets took some time.
