I've always wanted to replace my 124's with 172's. I know for some, this rim is "too common" but I prefer stock looking than 3-5" of polished lip.
Anyone want to sell me a set of 172 + tires for cheap? NoVA here.

I might have my set up for sale soon, not sure though. They need repaired - all are slightly bent and one is cracked. cost of about $500 to fix them all from what I could find out. What would a fair price be for them in their condition? Maybe around $800 bucks - and without tires, just the wheels.

Thanks guys.
Someone is offering me $1600 for a set of M5 rims/tires.
I think I need to sell some of my Cannondales/Specialized bikes.
I like the 172's for the non-M car better than the M-rims.
I do have M-tech but IMO, the 172 is the best looking OEM for the 5'er.

The downside of the 172s for me is no concavity, they seem a little busy, and I can't imagine what a pain it is cleaning those!

Keep in mind that if the tires were from an M5 E60 you will not be able to use them, so put the cost of new tires into consideration as well.
