HPS > Ceramics. The ceramics aren't good at all. I'd rather get posi quiets than the ceramics.
You'll definitely notice a big difference in stopping. Ceramics hardly produce any dust but of course at a cost. I haven't heard anyone complain about the HPS dust though so up to you.
