Anyone Using H&R Coilover?
#1
Hi Guys,
Thinking to replace my Eibach spring with stock shock to H&R coilover. Anyone knows the big difference on the Coilover? How does the ride and handling?
Thanks,
Appreciate it!

Did you have problems with your Eibachs?
I just got mine installed and so far it feels like the stock Sport Package springs.
The only thing is, compared to the stock Sport springs the front was lowered only 1/8" and the rears 1/2" but I'll have to say that I'm impressed with the way the car feels on bumps and dips. The car doesn't bounce or feel too stiff so there was no sacrifice in ride quality.

Very nice!
Read in the other thread that your friend, Totoseow (that's unique ) helped you out.
How is the height adjusted? I mean, it's obvious you would need to adjust the shocks but what about the springs? Are the two mounted into some frame and adjusted simultaneously as a unit?

Go to www.hrsprings.com for an explanation of how coilovers work. H&R claim that they invented the coilover system.

I don't work, so I have the time to go farting around buying totally useless stuff from all over the world.

I installed mine a week ago, together with a few other mods, and must say the H&R Coilovers rock, especially with the 166M's on Mich PS2's.

Modesty has never been one of my virtues.
