Hey senza, where did you purchase your LED turn signals? do they give error message? im looking to get them as well....any help would be great!
Bimmian sells them for $60. You can either do clear or smoked/tinted. Or you can get these, which is what I have:

Ok so correct me if i'm wrong..there are two ways to change the color right?
1. by changing the whole AE
2. by changing the h8 bulb

which is better?, gives no error and doesnt void the warranty etc.

The front turn signals I got from J Levi Street werks:

http://www.jlevistreetwerks.com/BMW-E60-5-...oduct_info.html

I believe the size is 7507. Double check with them though. $20 bucks plus 2.50 for xenon white. F*ck the solaris invisibulbs thats all I will say on those things.

Im wondering if I can/should put the turn signals on until I put the resistors on (which I posted a thread for some help because I dont mess with electrical stuff)

I recommend all of J levis LED lighting. EVerything matches and is perfect xenon white (slight hint of purpleish blue)

I have 6000K headlights and LOVE them. I had them on my last E60 too. Now that I have no fogs, these lights make the roads so much easier to see, especially in the rain. Anything above 6000K is ricey and does not belong on a BMW.

Can't wait to see and drive your new car, Bill.

Come on C, get hungry will you!!!

4300k for yellow/white (stock HID color)
5000k for white
6000k for frost white (I have this for my headlight)
8000k for blue (stay away)

There are 10000k-12000k. I think they give more purple/white color.

If you guys are curious about HID from erick go here

http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...p;hl=monsterj34

thats my car with hid fog.

They are two types of 6000k that erick carries. one that is really bluish and one is more white.

I have more whiteish 6000k. If you want to see 6000k bluish color, i have picture of my friends with the kit so let me know and i will send it to you

i've been debating about this too. i want to upgrade to hid fogs as well but i dont know if i should go with 6k or 5k. elite says our headlights have a yellow hue eliminator and that's why its white and 6k fogs would match it but im learning towards the 5k as well. katheikia, if you go with the 5k, let us know what you think and post some pictures if you can.

There is no 5000k, only 4300k and 6000k. The 6000k that I had were very different than the 4300k headlights. So I have ordered 4300k. Should have them in about a week. I will post my feedback and pics.
