My Ride: 2004 BMW 645 black sapphire metallic, 19" Style 166 (245/40 & 285/35 w 15mm spacers)
Thanks Pete,
I was looking for 125 before I decided to go for 128 I think I'll give my order in tomorrow for 128, so actually after that there's nothing I can do any more if it will rub I guess I'll just have to use spacers then. But I also think that 10 mm (so about 5 mm per side) should be still ok. So let's see...

Further to our PMs, my 128s have 275 at the rear and that is the FACTORY STANDARD set-up, i.e. as BMW supplies from the Parts & Accessories catalogue. I'm not sure how much tolerance BMW would include between the inner side of the rim/tyre and the car itself, but only 10mm doesn't sound like much for a manufacturer sorry, not very scientific, but maybe helps!
I will be having my 128s mounted in a 2-3 weeks time, so could have BMW check the space when they do it. Just let me know if the timing works for you.
p.s. I saw your other post about the 125s. IMHO, nice, but not in the same league as the 128s!

Hey,
do you have a e61 or a e60?
if you go for the 128s with et32 in the rear, I would suggest that you take 15mm spacers and 275 tires. I understand where you are getting to with teh 285 tires, but take vredesteins 275s and you should have the same effect as with the 285s.. as i just mentioned in my pm, vredesteins make by far the widest tires i have seen. On my new car, I am putting 19" vredesteins for summer and winter.

Hi,
I have E60. Actually I'm messing with 285 because I have these tires left over from my previous car and I don't want to buy new tires. I still have hope that they'll fit
