Press Power button or TV/Video. Try every single button

I already tried pressing everything. Seems like the mute button will mute the static noise coming from my AUX input, but i get no picture. Am I supposed to connect a plug to the back of the Idrive screen? I have a plug leftover for the "V4" outlet on the Navtv unit but I don't know where its supposed to plug into.

I don't have any experience with the interface but does the following post help?:

I assume you've read through that monster thread. Another option is to look at posts from DomofNavwithtv since he's the expert...

Good luck!

Did you install IR eye and connects it to navtv unit? Point remote control to it.

I gave up for today. Put everything back together and I'm going to see what Dominic can help me out with tomorrow. I plugged in everything. I used my aux input for the audio to the DVD player. There's a little bit of a static noise throught the aux plug and when i press MUTE on the remote control, the sound goes away. So i know the remote works. The power is all hooked up, the 2 cables that plug into the controller unit are plugged in, the DVD power is on. Is there anything else I am missing? I am left with a "V4" plug that isn't plugged in. It is a round looking plug with like 10 pins inside. I don't know if i'm supposed to plug it in or not because I can't find where to plug it it. I did a search on the forum but couldn't find any installation instructions. The ones I received from navtv are very basic and don't explain very much. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
