Question:

If people are using a 20x9 wheel on E60 and in one case we have seen the BBS RX wheels in 21inch (width unknown) im wondering can we fit a 22x7 all around?

There is something about widths and heights with some calculations but I dont know them =/ Help

Why do you want a 22 inch for your car? I'm running 19" for mine and the ride is already bad enough..

Yea but anyone will tell you even if I went 20x9 and 20x10.5 versus a 22x7 im going to get the same horrible ride =/

22x7 would work though you think?

Stock tire:
sidewall 4.4in
radius 12.9
diameter 25.9
circumf 81.2
revs/780

New tire:
sidewall 2.9
radius 13.9
diameter 27.8
circumf 87.3
revs/mi 726

Will it work? Im assuming im looking at the diameter but I dont know how much more off the stock tire diameter can I go up?

22 and 23 go on 745, is that an SUV?

So what is MAXIMUM diameter for tire clearance for front and rear? Anyone know?

I don't know how well you'll be able to fit 22"s on your ride, I can understand fitting them on a 7 series because its a bigger car. I currently have 20"s and I am running 255/25/20 in front and 285/20/20 in rear, those tires are really really low profile. I can't imagine what it'll be like riding on 22"s and I am pretty certain that you won't be able to fit 22" rims with 245/35/22 tires on your e60, you'll definitely have rubbing issues. If you must have 22"s on your e60, then I think you're going to have to go with lower profile tires, which I wouldn't recommend. My rims recently got all bent up and I blew my tires because of a huge pothole, but it wasn't the first time my tire blew out. They were just too low profile for daily driving use, thats why I'm going to replace them with 255/35/20 in front and 285/30/20 in rear, but i might have some rubbing issues; and I'm riding on 20" rims.
