Sorry for the delay. The full review and photos will have to wait til next week guys. I've been traveling non stop for pretty much the past ten days minus two days of downtime (one for the CIC retrofit thank god). I drove 4 hours today loving every minute of the new tech. BMW ConnectedDrive is excellent, bluetooth is flawless. Will write more next week. If you're on the fence about doing this... go through with it. It is physically impossible to regret getting this done.

Can't wait for the review. I've already made an appointment to get all my car's software up to date to make the retrofit easier.

The car software update is not necessary for the CIC retrofit so if you need to pay for it you might want to cancel it.
It might make the coding job easier though.

Patryk,

Payment sent Wohoooo...I am excited for the spring and this mod

For others, please contact Patryk through the email. He is very responsive and helpful. I would rate his customer service rating at 110 percent

Can't wait for Metroe60 to post the install.

Cheers

I'm worried I might run into issues like pclausen did on around page 11-13 of this thread:
https://5series.net/forums/topic/994...tallation-log/

So you can do it all the necessary coding remotely after the install?

Don't worry. We'll take care of them.
You really don't need to update the car software.

After the CIC is installed the car has to be coded so anything that might not work after the installation will be fixed.

Thanks Patryk. That's good to know. The shop was going to charge me $250 flat to update all the modules. Personally I think it's reasonable. But I think I'll cancel.

BTW, I have a BMS PowerBox installed in my car. Would that interfere with all the coding you need to do? Should I take it out?

Please respond to my thread and says you're in...I have also started similar thread on E90post in the I-drive section (I did post in E90 since it is one of the most active forums).

Thank you...
