As promised, better late than never... My (video) review of the CIC retrofit courtesy of some cash money, Patryk, and Rich. Thanks guys. I do apologize for any shakiness as I was in (extremely) slow moving traffic and I had my attention divided between driving and "filming", if you will.

Two things I did not demo in this video is the Bluetooth/Phone in action as well as navigation destination entry and POIs. It's pretty straightforward but I can make another video if I get a decent amount of requests. Also, I forgot to mention that for those of you with Logic7 in your cars, you will notice a significant improvement in sound quality, which is to be expected given the physical iPod connection. The bass is nuts. You will see in the video where I keep my bass and low frequency settings... Prior to the retrofit each equalizer setting was 3-4 clicks higher across the board (except the mid range which I always keep low). Again, this is the best mod I can imagine. Noticed there are stars on one of the navigation pics. Does that mean it automatically change from daytime to nighttime image? I've read someplace that some retrofits did not do that automatically...?

No unfortunately. I have a favorite key programmed for it ( I it in the video ).

Thanks. Yes you can play iPhone video. I forgot to show that. I have a couple of episodes of dexter on there and it works. As for video from USB, I'm not aware of it. I.e., transferring video onto the hard drive is something I've been told I cannot do. I'll try it out soon hopefully
