Anyone have XM radio?

Can XM sat radio be hardwired into 2004 525? What have people done with XM?

I have XM but I have the Roady2. The roady2 has a fm wireless transmitter so you don't have to wire direct. You can search on this site for the pics I added, but now if the AUX connector works I am going to get that and hard wire it in.

My Ride: 2004 530i, Titanium grey/Black, Automatic, Sport, Premium, Nav, HUD, Aux input, 35% tint all around.

i have the roady 2 as well and find the wireless modulator unbearable. I'm desperately hoping the aux input will be available for us spec cars.

When you get sirus sat. can the subcription be changed to xm

Unfortunately, no. XM and Sirius broadcast at different frequencies, so the built in antenna for the BMW Sirius module cannot be used to receive XM signals. Best option if you really want XM is the Aux input option using an XM receiver.
