I am considering getting the RD Sport Quad Exhaust. Has anyone done it? Just curious how it will sound? I have seen pics of it already. Thanks!

I believe jsal had it but he changed it for the Hamann quad. I think it was a little louder than he'd expected.

I had it in my hands - nice exhaust but thought it was going to be too loud. It has straight through muffler.

I heard it on a 645 with the cross over pipe - removing the second resonator (the box resonator) in the rear. For me it had a little bit more sound than I wanted. I ordered it and assumed I would install it with the rear resonator still in. However, I found out that the rear resonator does not do much and once I saw the mufflers (straight through) I figured it would not pass the wife test.

I had been told that it is not as loud as the B&B system - if that helps.

I think I would like the sound, however I spend about 90% of my time on the freeway and did not want to give up the quiet, smooth feel of the car when on the freeway and did not want the flack from the wife.

Also, I was staying with the stock rear apron (modified for the second set of pipes) and the 3.5" diameter pipes seemed a little big for me.

I think it is the best free flowing exhaust system on the market and they did a nice job on it. If I was just ratting around town all the time and rairly had passengers, I would have gone for it.

I like my Hamann system, but it could be just a tad louder - maybe I will remove the second resonator and see what happens. I am waiting to see what sound increase I get from the CAI.
