I have Michelin Pilot Alpin for my winter setup and I must say that so far (no snow yet ) they ride pretty nice. A little softer than the stock Dunlops and maybe somewhat quieter. Certainly, since they're not HP summer tires, the stickyness in the cornering has suffered a bit but that's OK for winter time anyway.

Overall I think it's a good tire.

I'm still driving my M3 as my E60 doesn't arrive until next week. It is currently shod with PS2's and I'm very impressed with them, great handling and deal with water really well and much better than the PS's that the car came with. They do have some tyre noise which some people don't like but I'd rather have a better tyre than less tyre noise! I think they come as standard on the M3 now so are they definitely not BMW approved?

When my 535d arrives I will be changing tyres pronto as I've read nothing but bad things about run flat's.

I have the bridgestone RFT and i'm not happy at all.

23.000 kms and the tyres are almost finished.
They aren't comfortable, are noisy and too hard for my taste.
I'm searching for new tyres too.
I have the 122, 17" rims.
Any brand you would advice?
