Not to ripoff Amazon.com, but...

"If you like those, you might also like" the ASA AR1 wheel. It's the EXACT same wheel, licensed from BBS to ASA (it's stamped on the wheel) for about 1/3 the price or less. I had a set of black ASA AR1s on my '05 Mustang GT.

Is the weight the same as the BBS or does it just look the same?

mine is RGR and it's in diamond black 19", check out my gallery:

i believe the weight for the BBS is 2-3 lbs lighter than the ASA based on the spec on tirerack.com
i did weigh my BBS setup vs. stock and i think with tire and wheel it's about 10lbs lighter per corner.

also, the BBS seems to be very strong and holding up well, i went through these potholes steel plate and always thought i will have a dent on the rims...

The BBS RS-GT 20" Diamond Black that I have is extremely light and strong comparing to the R10s and 167s that i had. Also, the color Bright Silver is easier to get than Diamond Black in 20"... Base on tirerack.com.

ASA AR1s are one piece cast wheels.

BBS RS-GTs are two piece forged wheels.

They are far from being the same wheel. Seeing both in person, the difference is quite obvious.
