I've seen lots of places selling a new Telemute cable for the BMW Logic 7 called Telemute 06-903B BMW. Has anyone see it, bought it or got access to it?

I'm looking for a part number from the part circle in red.

This cable is made by a company called Autoleads in the UK. They make various cables etc but this particular one is made for BMW systems with Logic 7 installations and allows you to connect any aftermarket bluetooth system to you car. This cable then helps the handsfree to mute the car's sound system on an incoming phone call. So in other words its a audio mute cable.

I'm not really interested in the cable at all, just the part I've circled.

I assume that same connector is found on the car somewhere? Usually the connectors are available from BMW but you need to crawl through the parts listing to find the right one. Have you asked AUtoleads if they'll sell you just the connector and pins?

I've reached a dead end on this one.
This kit is actually used to connect an aftermarket bluetooth kit directly to the Logic 7 amp in the boot. The kit mutes the sound of the BMW system and uses the speakers as the handfree. Its quite a neat concept. Autoleads get their connectors from Tyco directly, somehow. The reason I say somehow is because Tyco refuse to sell me these connectors directly unless BMW authorise the sale and BMW will not authorise the same. The part circled is actually part of the BMW amps and are fitted/soldered in place at the factory. BMW do not do that part as a spare. It does the female (connecto under the circled one) as a spare because that part is connected to the car's wiring harness. Nevermind...I'll think of something else.

Bruce,
I've only just spotted this post.
If it's any help I've got that lead in my E60, I had it fitted when I transfered a Parrot kit from my previous company car

I got the part number from Autoleads and it was as I suspected. I was actually hoping the Autoleads were either making their own plugs or knew somewhere I could get them from. However it turns out Autoleads get their plugs from Tyco direct. They've managed to convince Tyco to sell them these plugs in limited quantities. Autoleads wouldnt sell these plugs to me because they apparently have only just enough to make their own cables so giving me one would mean one less cable for them.

If there is anyone who can find this part for me that will be brilliant. The Tyco Amp part number is 1-828881-2 and the BMW part no is 61 13 1 383 515 9
