We were cruising around 70mph+ and then dropped down to 60mph. When I tried to drop down to 2nd gear, it would switch back to 3rd. I think if I was in 2nd and increased speed to 60mph, then it would stay but the Step wouldn't let you kick down to 2nd at that speed.
