I wanted to buy a new exhaust preferrably one that has a deep purring sound (like the infiniti G35) and looks nice too. i have no idea what brands are good for BMW's and estimated prices... any suggestions anyone?
There are a couple of Remus sound clips in my sig for a V-8. A six cylinder may sound different. Which do you have?

Hey,
If you want a deep sound...get a B&B exhaust...you can find it at bavauto.com listed as their triflo exhaust.

Here is a sound clip from their website: http://www.bbexhaust.com/car/e60/

What 5er do you have? Follow the link in my sig to the B&B Muffler Movie link--for a 545i. And, B&B used to have a muffler movie on its site for a 530i as I recall. If you you like what you hear, then let me know and I'll tell you the rest of the story. Also, there is a chance that my B&B movie won't play. I just tried it, and none of the versions are working for me, but I am using Window Vista RTM and have may not have "dialed everything in" since I have not been fooling with movies lately.

P.S. All is OK; I forgot I hadn't installed QuickTime yet. The AVI version is not currently working for me for what it is worth. The QT and MPEG4 versions are AOK for me.

That B&B muffler sounds nice. I'd get that if I wasn't going for quad

I would avoid the B&B. I won't deal with them again, and others may echo my experience. The Eisenman, though more $$, is far superior quality, as is the Remus, although the Remus is usually not stainlees steel (some pn's are). Just my .02...
