I don't like the side skirts and what's up (literally!) with that decklid? Front and rear bumpers look OK to me though.

I know you were at the Wheel Power Meet, but don't remember if I had talked to you about VF Engineering's S/C for the 545/550. You might want to try and look into them. Also, they're local in Anaheim.

i've talked to vf engineering several times. both for my 996 and my 550i. i'm definately getting that s/c as soon as it's availible. but, i couldn't help being interested by this company. seems they are serious tuners. especially for the 5er. v-12 conversions. i'd love to have one of those. but, in all reality i know i'll be buying the vf engineering s/c. it's just having to wait makes me so crazy.

I remember reading about G-Power in some articles in both European Car and Bimmer but that's the extent of my exposure to them. The feeling I got from those articles is that they're pretty good at what they do.

The wait for the VFE S/C will be worth it. I spoke with 61Mac11 and he had the VFE S/C on his 540. He loved it. The VFE S/C for the 545/550 will be available first or second quarter 2007.
