I'm planning to get the M5 side grilles, however, not sure if I can do it w/o getting the full piece of the fenders which is quite pricey...

I think it is not possible without changing the whole fender which is around $950

Be carefull Bro you stepped on a MINE

on this forums people can hurt your feelings.

Hamann did it on Hm5.0 Fender was like 1500 and then the work.

So you can do it but then out a different sticker maybe a badge of the FORUM.

Then it is not coping as not only M cars can have grills on the side,
just do not put M5 badge on the grill.

I bought on ebay and keep it in my die-cast e60 and other BMW collection, also with a 8,8 TFT VDO like new and a petrol tacho.

Yes, complete rice I agree. But on the other hand, it's his car, his $$ so what do you care?

I think a lot of people are offended when someone tries to "fool" them. That's the only real reason I can think of.

Personally, I wound be very embarrassed if someone called me out on it, or when they ask to see the engine. I'm also not a big fan of look-a-likes. By changing to the M5 grill, this is what you will have become:

BTW, this is NOT a real Mercedes. It is a KNOCK-OFF.
