My Ride: 535d M Sport - Visibilty, Media, Logic7, Heated Comfort Seats, too many other extras to list
I never use my fogs and TBH, I think the M-sport bumper would look better without them. Now as the M5 doesn't have them, I know I could live without them too.
Having taken off the fog surround, I can see that it would be easy to remove the foglight, but I would need to put a solid surround back in there to cover the aperture, as it is there are plastic bits behind it that would look uber messy if just left uncovered.
Now my question is, has anyone done this already? What did they do - just mod the original surround? It would be pretty easy I think with some fiberglass or similar to smooth over the entire surround and get it looking like one solid piece. What do you guys think?
TIA

Personally, living in Illinois, I love my fogs because there can be....... lots of fog! Also, in heavy snow, the different color temperature of 3000k with the fogs helps me see better. I wouldn't get rid of them if you paid me!
