You better check the hub diameters as well. e39's had 74.1mm hubs, while e60's have 72.5mm hubs.
The Hamann Anniversary II's, like all Hamann rims, are super heavy, not that you care of course. I was surprised when I saw their weight - porky!

I do care some, I don't want to see a huge drop in pull b/c of some bigger wheels, but look is my main concern. Any idea where I can find out the weights of some wheels (i.e. the Hamann's, CH's)?

It seems like some hubcentric rings would be a simple cure for this.

If your interested in a lighter/stronger wheel with a similar look, the BBS RE is forged I believe, but should be more expensive.

You can contact Hamann in Germany directly, like I did, and they will be only too happy to give you specs on all their wheels.
tirerack usually has weights on most of their wheels if you click on them when they are on the virtual car. Certainly the rgr and rs-gt have weights shown.

what are hubcentric rings? And also, I don't know much about wheel fitments and all that, but correct me if I'm wrong, "these BBS CH's won't fit my E60 if they have previously been fitted for another vehicle, correct?". It seems like the E60 offset, and hub diameters are diff. than any vehicle you would find these CH's on, so do I just need to get some CH's specifically made for an E60?

Hubcentric rings are fine, but it's another piece of kit that may get stuck because of rust, cause mis-alignments, etc. Give me 72.5mm rims any day of the week.

excuse my stupidity, but what do you mean by 72.5mm hub diamters compared to 74.1mm hub diameters, are you talking about the diamter of the face of the wheel?

hubcentric rings are sleeves you put on the hubs so that you can fit an oversized opening on a smaller diameter hub. Manufacturers who don't want to re-tool old designs meant for the e39 just use these rings when the intended use is for the e60 with its smaller hubs.
Offsets for both e39 and e60 are the same.
The CH's, being an older model, were made for the e39 hub diameter, so you need hubcentric rings.
So e39 wheels fit on an e60, but not vice-versa, unless you bore out the e60 wheel center to 74.1mm.
As for weight, each lb of rotating mass is equal to 7 to 10lbs of static mass. The Hamann 20" Anniversary II's are 12 to 15 lbs each heavier than the 19" rgr's. You do the math!

When you take off and put on a wheel, the thing that sticks out in the center of the mounting surface (where the lug nuts go) is the hub.
74.1mm is about 3 inches.

You could get some CHs off an older 5 series, either the e34 or e39. The e34 should have the same hub diameter, but you'd be hard pressed to find 19s on an e34.

Those CHs you've seen on e46fanatics wouldn't work, unless you're willing to use spacers, which isn't recommended.
