Hey guys,

I dont have a AUX input for my car so I was looking to install this kit from ebay. It says its OEM but not sure. Just wondering if anybody has DIY for this or any recommendations. Looks like a cheap way to get the IPOD going for somebody with no AUX or ipod kit. I'll probably call my dealer first to see how much to reprogram to add AUX in the menu. Im sure he'll try to rip me

the install of the kit literally takes 10 mins if that, and dealer reprogram is $200 depending on dealer

there is also a SIB that if you cannot listen to MP3 cd's then you can get it done for free

I don't think the above statements are correct. The cable is quite a pain to instal because it plugs in behind the radio.you need to remove a lot of trim and stuff. Also the mp3 sib has to do with the iPod kit, not the aux input.

I did the aux threw the dealer (250.00 with program) it sucks no bass highend is low so i did what most people do and cut the little pc board out for better sound which does work. save your money and do it right get the ipod kit you will be happier.
