Hey Louie I have them on my 550, I just got them about 2months ago and I love them! I cant say one bad thing, although I did get a flat already, but the roads here are disgusting to say the least They wear down as you use them,(hence the DWS, dry, wet, snow) which lets you know what type of weather they will be used for to get optimal performance out of them--at that time... whew, i dont knwo if that sounds right, but i know what i meant to say..lol..

just get em! lol

I got them and there are two things I'd say about them - one good and one not so much.

1 They definitely handle excellent in wet and snow, they hang on in turns, but

2 but they definitely also have soft sidewalls, so these will not handle as well as, say, summer UHP tires. As soft as the sidewall is (and it is soft, I've actually squeezed it a couple of times before they were installed), the tires do not break traction. They are also very quiet and compliant on bad surfaces. I'm using them as a "winter" set, so I'm content with their handling, because for the "summer" set I want to use bigger wheels with summer UHP tires. If you're thinking about tracking on them though, I'd suggest something with a stiffer sidewall.

Wow--russian with a 530 you are needing a UHP summe tire? I have had the mich pilot sport a/s before, goodyear eagle F1, dunlop dsst01 summer, yoko SDrive summer, general exclaim UHP and now the DWS.

I can say in 4 winters the DWS is absolutely killer!Even on fat 285 tires and 19 inch wheels with short sidewalls There is no storm this winter threw at me that was at all a problem. I am in the midwest-so I am not talking really deep snow-butu a lot of snow nonetheless and I have a non xi model and they were killer. They were also brand new this winter so they were working at their peak.

As far as the soft sidewalls I will agree with that but its easily solved by keeping your PSI a bit higher-I use 42 all around with these whereas with past tires maybe 38 or so. Honestly if you dont track a car there is just no way you will see any performance loss, especially if you put your psi up a few points-just wont happen.

The nice thing which you actually do see a difference in accceleration and mpg is the lightness of the tire-they are equally light to the PS2--for a 245/19/35 tire it weights 23-24 pounds which is like 6 or 7 pounds lighter PER tire than most other ones, esp the mich a/s who is at 30 pounds per 245 tire.

So overall for the cheap price I think you are better off getting these and just replacing them more often then a seperate winter/summer setup. They also come in really wide sizes 245/35/19 and 285/30/19 I dont know why anyone would need a bigger size than this so really no need for a seperate summer setupt IMO
