With my mercedes, there were different dealers that offered different prices on parts. Can anyone recommend a dealer with good prices? I'm trying to get the kidney grills for my 545. They want 50 bucks for each at my dealer. Just wondering if there are any other parts sources out there.

I want a set of the chrome grill frames because i want to paint them black to match my car. I know i can just take mine off and paint those but i want a set of the stock ones just in case the painted ones get too chipped. I have to buy them with the grill inserts, can't just get the frames

btw chrome does not paint easily. Paint has a tendency to chip off easily unless the chrome is scuffed up with sand paper and special primers are used. You'd be better off not starting with chrome. Paint on chrome is nearly guaranteed to flake off.
Also, BMW car club of America membership will help to provide discounts on parts at some dealers or parts stores, ask the dealer if they give dscounts for that membership.
