Hmmmm. No HID

John, the F10 is going to need some fly light mods. First up...HID AEs, once you have them, you can never go back. Well, er....at least I can't

The 2011 BMW corona light / angel eye LED are quite bright and cool. Saw the new 5 and had a new 2010 3 for a loaner.

Yes the new AEs are bright, white and a massive improvement over the disappointingly dim E60 AE. Still, they are not HID. Nothing beats HIA AE for brightness and presence. HIDs FTW!

Yea John, I've seen a bunch recently....they are bright and a substantial upgrade over stock e60's but we truly have the best!

I saw the new angel eyes on a 550i gt and they look WAY WAY better than the e60 angel eyes. Not sure why it took them this long to figure it out.

Seen them at the Mt. Laurel BMW meet this weekend. They aren't that bright in the daytime.

Yeah... that's the impression I have as well. Ross in another thread mentioned that the new E92's AE look bright, but they look alright to me.

Probably spoiled by Orions
