Whilst retro-fitting my m5 mirrors last week, one of the unhappy side effects is that now, the anti trap window warning chime comes on at start-up, and the warning triangle remains on permanently.
Both passenger and driver windows open and shut absolutely fine.
Prior to the mod, the passenger window was a bit sticky, and sometimes the warning would activate whilst trying to close that window. But only itermittently, not permanently.
Some time soon I'll be re-installing the mirrors (to correct from being LHD to RHD !!.....see my other threads). So when the door trim is off again, (or perhaps before that time), does anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of this warning light. ?
Thanks.
