Adding Eloy's silencer makes ALL the difference in the world, no drone, and just SMOOTH burbly exhaust notes!!

Boots, great mod, adding an exhaust can make your car seem all new again. It sounds great. Makes me miss the supersprint exhiast I had...it was loud as shit and had a good drone too...but I liked it.

Gotta start saving my pennies for this child tear enducing, nun scarring, hide yo kids, hide yo wife loud ass Meistershaft gt2 for the beast. Until then I'll live vicariously thru u sir!

Lol the people that talk about having the drone issues then buying a silencer to lessen the drone.

So my question is, what is the point of spending $900-$2200 on a exhaust to gain HP only to put on a silencer which restricts the hell out of the air flow essentially making all the HP gained go bye bye. Lol makes no sense to me but whatever.

Grats on the exhaust though hopefully you'll feel the gains, and don't be a dummy and put a silencer on it.

That Meistershaft is going to sound unreal. When you get it, you should just place your video camera at home, and drive away for about 1/2 mile nailing it to hear all that goodness.

As per Eloy, the silencer knocks a couple of HP off of your gains, but if you couldn't live with the drone and were going to remove the exhaust because of it, then you are STILL netting some extra ponies while gaining that awesome RPI sound! Win/Win in my book!

BTW, to the haters......have you ever driven WITH an RPI and experienced the amazing sound firsthand? If not, you REALLY don't know what you are talking about!

Agreed. In my case my car came with the RPI already installed so I was not out any money on the exhaust. However, the drone was annoying to me and Eloy said you will loose some of the gains but nearly eliminate the drone by using one silencer in the tips. Now, if you used 2 silencer than you would be back to OEM HP. The sound is great and what a V-8 should sound like

Do any our favorite vendors sell the silencer? Is Eloy from RPI directly?

Finally got the rpi installed this morning. Thanks to joe at trinty for answering a couple quick questions during the install.

did you DIY this? was it easy. I can do a lot myself, but I don't want to get in the middle of it and have to bail out. I realize a lift would make it easiest, but do you really need one?
