LOL where I live or where the photoshoot was? it was a couple of places, but near each other.

I polished the car with some carnuba before shooting. And of course, it rained the next day

PS I was trying to keep the modding theme to "could be mistaken for factory". Of course, that black Alpina sign on the airdam screws that up - I had the front repainted recently and the painter took the liberty of "surprising" me with the black Alpina sign and the black lip. The lip I actually really like how it looks in black, the sign - hated it at first, but so many people have since complemented me on it, I've almost learned to live with it. But what do you guys think? To a layman, does it obviously look modded?

I've had those thoughts many times - about the 550... it's aight, man - it's a great car with any of the engines that it was made with As for making it shine, it's as simple as wash, clay bar, compound, polish. Spray wax as needed. There are lots of great detailing threads on this forum

same as yours with the 18-105 Nikor. wasn't from b&h tho - walmart, if you can believe it !!! and it was in stock and a few bucks cheaper
