definitely true! when i went with gloss black for my internal pieces (pre-LCI) i decided to sand off the chrome with 1000 grit sand paper, prime then paint with gloss black...

this looks amazing so far!

Yessir. I would even go as far to recommend going even higher than 1000.

Alternatively though, compatible primer could be an easier way out

UPDATE:: special thanks to simon for coming out and re-installing the headlights back on and doing some coding sorry guys car is really dirty coz it has been sitting at RANZ getting some body work done

now let's see these bad boys lit thru direct sunlight, better pics coming soon

Yeah, sorry guys, wasn't able to take better pics because there was a car parked right in front of Justin's, so couldn't get a whole frontal shot. But I am sure those are coming soon, once Justin picks up the car on Thursday!
