Hey, i need help, i have a 2005 530i and i dont have the oem projectors (Xenon headlights)! My headlights have the plain regular look, with the yellow bulbs and everything, no projectors in them.... I just wanted to know if i can get an angel eye upgrade to these headlights! Because i wanted to get the Mtec V2.1 but they only work with (The headlights with the xenon projectors)!! Is there anyway i can upgrade my angel eyes!!! My headlights look like this right now, ...... http://www.nicedeals.co.uk/images/bm...ight-04-bp.jpg HELP!!!

To add to the question above:

I have an 2006 550i. I ordered a BMW E60/M5 LED ANGEL EYES HALO KIT (2004-2007). I trying to figure out if I can wire them as DRL (Daytime Running Lights) and if so, How?

If you intend to stay with these headlights, your only reasonable upgrade is Orion v2.

Haha, sounds like they're changing the numbers around, though it equals the same thing. It used to be (and still probably is) $250 for Orions, and $250 for install. Both adds up to $500 anyway.

With that said, projector headlights will run you more money. A decent set with all parts used for pre-LCI are about $500+. On top of that, it's not plug and play, so you'll have to get someone that has some electrical knowledge to help splice some wires. Or pay a knowledgeable shop to do it. Then you'll still have to buy aftermarket angel eye bulb. Even after that, you won't have angel eyes that are as bright or look as good as Orions.

As for the install, I do it as well, and have done quite a good amount installs for people down in Socal.
