My Ride: E60 530d M Sport, Alpine White, 2006, Australian

Hi all,

I have an Australian E60 530d Sport 01/2006 build 03/2006 compliance. It has the standard yellow angel eyes and I want to change them to white ... it should look great on my Alpine White car. Can I just buy the kit off ebay and follow the YouTube video? I don't have the Bi-Xenon lights. Does this matter?

Thankks in advance,

virgil.

Hi Virgil,

If you don't have the bi xenon's you would have to get a regular bulb. It cost about $20 plus shipping to you. Please PM me for more information. Thank you.

Hmmm ... I'm only out to replace the angel eyes, if possible. I don't want to change the standard low beam or high beam. I believe that the part that I'm seeking to replace is the parking light globes ... 63126929309. I'm looking to do something similar to this:

Do I really need Xenon headlights just to change the accompanying parking light?

Thanks.

No you do not have to change the low or high beams...though you should get some HIDS from brabusw209amg...itll go great with the angel eyes. The angel eyes have seperate bulbs. VERY easy to install maybe beause I have smaller hands haha. Get the bulbs from trinity.

Thanks Senza ... now we are cooking!!!

I saw your mod list and I'm particularly interested in updating to LED wherever I can.

If you'd please, I'd like a web link to your source. Also, a parts list for replacing interior and exterior bulbs for LED would be great, if possible.

In the meantime, I'm going ahead with the angel eyes.

Cheers

if you dont have the Xenon then you will need to get these which will fit.
they are not as bright as the ice Xenon angel eyes but they are the best so far.

Me and brabusw209amg are testing a new angel eye bulb today in my car. There will be a thread later tonite with pictures IF it works. These will be the brightest LED as of yet from what I hear. If not Pings bulbs or J levis bulbs are good. The other LED bulbs you can get from Trinity or J levi. Just MAKE SURE you let them know you have halogen headlights. Check sylvania.com to see what bulb sizes they are. They come with resistors...these are not that easy to install but maybe someone can help you with that.
