Angel Eyes brightness

My Ride: BMW E61 530Xi
Recently I change my Angel Eyes colour to white....but it seems that aren't so brightness as I expected. More, the left side looks to be weaker than the right one...Is there an explanation? I understand that there are different versions of bulbs for Angel Eyes:

If I buy last version (V3) they'll gonna look brighter? Or I must push harder the weak bulb in the seating?

most common issue is that the bulb is not inserted fully...check the install to make sure it is "pushed all the way in"/installed correctly

Hope is this! However, is not so easy to change the bulb! 
What do you know about the versions of the AE? Why should I buy V3 if I have V1? Is brigther?
