Hi all, I'm new to the e60 community, just picked up a 6spd 2006 AW 550i. Awsome machine
I've been lurking around trying to figure out how to change the bulb for the angel eyes.
I saw the video of the chinese guy on you tube taking off the headlight unit.
I removed the bolts, but the headlight won't come off, it sounded/felt like there was another bolt at the bottom of the unit.
Any suggestions?

PS: I think the bulbs I need are H7's, please correct me if I'm wrong. I picked up 2 pairs of the super white H7's from a local accessories shop.

There is a DIY on how to remove the headlight. The H7 bulbs is the Highbeam flasher, not the angel eyes. The angel eyes are a special bulb / casing which is under the H7 bulb.

There are two bolts you have to loosen towards the bottom of the headlight. Once you find that DIY, you can take out your headlight.

Also you won't need to take out ur headlight for the angel eyes. Only time you need to take off the headlight is to change out your Lowbeam HID.

Its PIA to change to the angel eyes without removing the headlight. I had a hard time even with it taken out.

Thanks for the input guys!
I guess the guy at the accessories shop told me wrong, he said the H7 will change up the AE's.
Ha, I gues I have 2 pairs of super white H7's for sale, dammit.

I'll post up pictures when it's done
