Greetings...
i love the way the look..and i saw on a thread earlier that someone made them brighter and more xenonish .... i think they took them to a place in NoCal for like $400-500 ....

How'd they do that .... can it be DYI

but is there a more cost effective way ?...
what kind of bulb is used for the angel eyes set up... ?

could it be as simple as changing out the bulb to a higher K ...
ie 5000- 6000 K ?

Thanks

I think he's talking about the Angel Eyes, not the actual headlights...

Does look good. I'm not an expert photgrapher, but judging from the exposure of all the other lights in the picture, from the orange on top of the angel eyes to the lamp posts in the background, I think maybe these are just our normal angels taken using a prolonged exposure. Leaving the lens open longer will make all the lights look brighter, including the angel eyes. Given the lack of lighting on the body of the car, clearly no flash was used, namely to give the lights and black body a more dramatic effect. Just my 0.02

Even neon lights under the car. What a true pimp.

I saw the bulbs for the angels whilst replacing the normal lights. They are housed within a brown ceramic cup. Within this cup, you will find another assembly looking like the halogen spotlights in your office/home. Same procedure. You will have to remove the bumper & light assembly to get to them.

Fortunately I didn't dare replace them nor knew what sort of bulbs they were because personally, I feel that you can change whatever you want, but if one changes the color of the angel eyes, then it does not look original anymore.

Furthermore, I also felt the contrast between the xenon low beams and the halogen rings make for better viewing. Still had not had a chance to post some picts but will do so soon.
