Hey there Simon. Yea I have Not been posting much lately. Actually had an issue with what I guess was the passenger side ballast (same side you looked at a while back). I shipped back to John and he replaced under warranty and even upgraded my cables to the latest/greatest. Hence my comment above, i received excellent customer service from John.

Are you sure?
I measured the voltage in the AE bulb's jack when only the DRL is on, results 13V.
When the main beam or just the parking light is on, it has only 4V. That's not enough for the HID to work. At least a Philips xenon kit that i have at home, works from 9V to 32V.
Am i right?

Can i ask you to post a film so i can see de fade in and out of the HID AE's?
I've read some John@motorcepts posts and it says that there's no dim or fade effect with these HID AE's.
Thank you !

I don't have HID AE's, I have Orions. I am not going to debate you further since it's entirely pointless when I know something as a fact. And I have never come across anywhere where John said the HID AE will not function like OEMs.

I started this discusion about HID AE, not Orions. Orion is something else.
Here's the John's point.
Sorry about the inconvenience.
