Angel Eye error
Hi I've just installed neon blue led angel eyes on my 2009 535XI which are H8 bulbs. I bought Lumenux LED angel eye bulb, after installing the bulbs I started the car. The color is nice but the only problem is that I get an error on the OBC screen saying Daytime Running Light error. Has anyone encountered this type of problem before, when I bought the bulbs it says OBC error free and will work without any problems. Just looking for any sugestion or help that you guys know about. Thanks.

most LED angel eye upgrades for LCI models (2008+) will cause error codes due to the different power levels of the LED bulbs from the standard/OEM Halogen bulb....
I believe racing dash makes an H8 LED angel eye upgrade, but I have read reports of error codes with their product as well. You can also just look into GP Thunder H8 bulbs....not as bright, but definitely better....
not sure how handy you are, but you can also look into an HID AE upgrade...
