Been reading up some threads regarding to upgrading the Angel eyes however they seem to be very expensive for me. Just wondering if anyone has changed Pre-LCI AE BA9s bulbs to something brighter? So far what I've gathered is there are 10W LEDs and 20W Halogens available.

Yes, I've briefly read something about that. Would it melt though?
Plus I can't find any BA9s/64115 HID bulbs

 

no on my 08 535i i have been running those for a few months now and *knock on wood* i haven't experienced any problems with them melting or anything. super bright and very nice.

 

yeah so jealous of your H8 globes, we have tiny BA9S
