I was wondering if this can be done to the e60 or if anyone knows where I can buy these amber LED lights that match interior lights. Only for the footwell though.

Try using amber side marker tape to do your footwell. Easy fix and it looks nice. It's a nice compliment to the factory lighting on the instrument cluster.

I actually like it! Very nice and ambient. I might just do this. Lets see if we can find some answers to this.

I think white LED's are just way to bright, especially at night. It just screams "hey look at me"

I had this idea couple of nights ago.... Being very bored... Decided to paint the dome lights and the door ones in orange.... I used orange nail paint.... The result is ok, i like it (which end of the line is the important matter )....not as amber as i would have thought, but a redish kind if orange tone.... LOL
