I remember seeing a photo of a really high quality "m ebrake" handle in aluminum in an E60. Does anyone else remember this, or know where I can get this handle? I'm slowly resigning myself to the Silverstone/Aluminum interior, and I think this will sharpen it up.

Wolfverine,
Not to hijack your thread but I wondered a couple of things about your order: 1) did your dealer give you a price for the M5 or a range (mine is saying $80-85k which to me sounds low). 2) does your guy plan to charge above sticker? 3) did they give you a time frame, or in other words how did you come up with your end of the year comment? My dealer appears to have no clue whatsover when they can expect the first ones in. Thanks.

I believe ACS make one. I also remember seeing one on eBay (the same guy who's selling the ///M aluminum pedals).

Pick up an accessories pamphlet from your dealer... It has a couple of different e-brakes you can get.

Hi Wolverine,
is it something like this you're looking for: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=33703

This is the same seller as where pmmeke got his M-Tech pedals.

Both dealers here in Cincinnati only sell at MSRP. My dealer is telling me they think the car will be available to order late summer/early fall for an end-of-year delivery. I'd just as soon wait until the snow clears...

As far as price, they just don't know. My guess is it will be around $85K base. If anyone tells you they know, don't believe them. I'll guess the price won't be available until late summer.

http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=4348

This links to my install of almost the same ebrake handle. It was ACS knock-off rather than M.
I since then replaced the interior trim, shown in another thread

http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=8068&hl=trim

to brushed aluminum of 05 style in my 04.

Does that help?
