The Bi-Turbo rocks... I believe the importer/vendor is a chap on the m5board. I'd have one of those in the garage, alongside the B5, if I had enough space. Not that much slower than a B5, especially if you tweak it, which is fairly straightforward.

It IS possible to import a BT into the US, though not exactly simple. Again, there's a US BT owner on the m5board.

Which pic / which car?

Those pics of my one were taken on the day I picked it up from the factory - some are taken later in the day, after a little European November road grime...

I see. Cool car!!

Hi all

First of all, I have a 2007 E60 and never have posted topics so i guess i am new lol , anyway s
i am going for the alpina look, i already have the hood and trunk and the steering wheel , also having the pinstripes done by a friend (pro), i have #95 wheels 19 , with exclaim UHP, so i am thinking leave the bmw logo in the wheels, ordered alpina and B5 emblems.

what you guys think, i might also do some interior mods to look alpina .... and yes i know it wont drive like one but i think it still might look cool

already did

subs, 3M clear bra, add on two way alarm monitor, also looking to add lip spoiler, cant make up my mind on that.. opinions appreciated
that would look nice:-) shouldnt the lip spolier be ALpina (if they do one)

Talking

In US, there's an Alpina dealer, that is the only one to go to (from the little that I've gathered so far), its KSK. They do carry a front lip spoiler for e60 and it costs a little over (or under?) $1,000. Which is ok, I guess - considering its Alpina, but it is way out of my price range. I've been looking for one for a while now, but had no luck so far - neither used, nor discount, not even a replica - it is either KSK or even more money, cuz every retailer in US apparently buys from KSK... but for that money, I'd go with Umnitza's rep M-tech...

In my case - because I simply like the design of the Alpina B5 a lot. And seeing how - even if I had the money to get one - you still cannot get a B5 in the US, unless you're willing to deal with hassle of importing one yourself.
