Andy545, I think the OE resonators help to narrow the droning rpm range. I noticed that when I had only 2 front resonators and no center boxed, the droning was at a wider rpm range compared to after I reinstalled the center boxed resonator. The key to eliminating droning is the muffler at the rear end. That's probably going to be your most effective/significant source of drone or no drone.
