So dumb question.....why does the 166 come in an M5 and M6 offset?? Since the wheel is stock on M5 and not on M6.
Also, both can be ordered through dealer??

yes, both can be ordered from the dealership...most members here that purchase 166 wheels with the M6 offset go thru garry @ Newport BMW...

C made a reference to Fast Times at Ridgemont High when he said, "Learn it, Know it, Bookmark it(Live it)"

I was actually making a joke. My bad. For those that know me, they know how I feel about the 166's. I hate them, even though I own them (they came stock on my car). I had to powdercoat them a dark graphite color to make them more tolerable, but I'm still not a fan. Fortunately, they're my winter wheels and have been packed away until next winter.

Thx Gene...
C,
well 166 is the style number for a particular rim that BMW makes for the BMW M5 produced from 2006-present...
Here is a picture to illustrate the 166 style rim
always glad to help...

For those that know me, they know I am unoriginal. I had to powdercoat them a dark graphite color to try to be as cool as DRANGED.

No worries buddy. They look nice on Dave's car as winter wheels until you are able to put EuroCarFans Rad's on for summer.
