Well, in the market to get some 166's. I just wanted to get a quick poll, of who is running which setup...

M5 offset
or
M6 offset

Some pics would be nice of the different offset, and how they sit with the fender

No competition, M6 > M5 offset on standard E60's. I'll take some pics as soon as I get my car washed .

It's nice and flush with the rear fender, has a good and natural looking aggressive stance. M6 offset ftw.

Dumb question but what does offset actually mean?

I have 166's with following tyres

245/35 ZR 19 93Y MICHELIN PILOT SPORT PS2 XL
285/30ZR19 (98Y) MICHELIN PILOT SPORT PS2 XL

You can check them out http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showuser=17934

166's are sooooo awesome.

Get the M6 offset. No need for a pair of 12mm spacers for the rear wheels.

most I would imagine have the ones for M5 fitment, especially since the M5 guys sell their wheels when they go with a different set. spacers are always an option. +1 with Rizbel a 12mm for the rear of an M5 fitment 166 will do it

Don't even think about getting the M5 offset. Get the M6, you will be very happy you did. My fenders aren't even rolled and it works fine with H&R sport spring drop. I have "SOME" rubbing on serious bumps, big ones, but thats it.
