I know the air scoops with the stock intake work great on the 335i, but I was wondering if these exsist for the 535i?

I found these:

but do they fit with the stock intake or is that only if you use AFE's kit

Your intake only brings in air on the driver side. You don't have 2 openings like the 335.

for the non-M e60 there's an inlet tunnel that faces 90 degrees from the opening of the kidney grill on the driver's side. that tunnel is directly connected to the stock airbox. the scoop directs air coming in from the kidney grill into that tunnel. to the OP, if interested we do have the RPI scoops in stock ready to go

So on the 535i only one opening vs the 2 on the 335i?

Do you have a photo so I can better see what you mean?

the 335i actually only has one opening that is large and faces downward from the top, which is why the RPI scoops for the 335 is designed to direct the air upward and the opening comes over both of the kidney grills.

a quick look for yourself under the hood and/or behind the grills and you'll see the opening. It's on the driver side grill..

similar to this, only it's the driver side for non M e60's

vs. an e9x 335i: http://raceprecision.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=13 (m and non m have 2 openings)
