Question, are this supposed to be like the PIAA's that you just change the bulb and that's it.

I just installed them on an E90 and they are very bright.

This is the new PIAA version, not the old one that was very dimmed.

You gotta have patience when installing the AIB's. It's all about getting the headlight out and fitting it back in. The actualy removal/install of the bulb is easy, but it's getting the light housing out that's a pain.

Yeah, if you have hands the size of an ewok (star wars). The DIY instructions has it both ways, but I can't see how anyone got in there and got good leverage installing the new lights. Getting them out is probably easier, but getting them in with a tight and secure lock seems VERY difficult unless you sit inside the hood, on top of the engine and have tiny, tiny, hands. Trust me...I tried. You'll see when you first attempt it.

rjcastr - Could you pls do detailed step-by-step DIY w/Pics or if possible video on how to install them on E60.. I would be getting my ICE v2.0 pretty soon. Sounds like this probably is going to most complicated task of all lol.. from calton's description

Thanks.

LOL Gosh AIB comes up with a new model every couple of months. By the end of the year we'll have v8.0

yep I agree... and these things are not cheap either, if you ask me releasing new products so soon pushes away customers because yes we want something better or the latest improved but it seems as spending 300+ and in less than 12 mths a new version is released. thats a hit. it would help if they didnt release them soo soon. IMO the v1.0 are still bright... i have yet to see the 1.0 and 2.0 in a side by side comparison to make be sway to the 2.0's drastically.. but to each his own.. if thre's any 1 out there who just wants some bright angel eyes and is not concered or caught up in the hype of version 1.0's 2.0's 3.0's 4.0's ect wich prob many on the street wont be able to distinguish anyways look here.... http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=40581 my set of 1.0's for sale 150.00 shipped.

2 reference pics of (BetterMakeWay's) car with version 1.0 if you ask me the others may be better but just like everything is just another way to dig into our pockets...
