No. You will have to replace the tires. For a fact 255/40/19 will not work in the front. You can try and get away with 285/35/19 in the rear. Member blackonblackonblack is running 285/35/19s in the rear on his 166s.

He's running 275/30

Should I just do 275/30 or shud go stay safe and go 265/30. Seems like the popular setup on the forum has been 245/35 and 275/30.

That's quite interesting. I remember seeing 285/35/19 on his rear at the Central Cali Meet in November. The sidewalls were a lot thicker than mine. I'm guessing he switched them out for 275/30/19. I'll talk to him at the Wheel Power Meet.

You can go with either 275/30/19 or 285/30/19. Only person I know running 265 on 167s is nickgre60.

Go with OEM.

Dont mess with replicas plus replicas are different. The design is not the same with the OEMs

For tires, I currently have:
245/35/19 and 285/30/19. No rubbing at all as I tested this week driving someone to SFO airport:
1. 100 lbs of luggage
2. 230 lbs of passenger in the back
3. 300 lbs of passenger + driver in the front
went through bump here and there on US101 and local roads. No rubbing at all

Therefore, for my daily driving, there won't be rubbing at all.

Are you lowered or on stock suspension?

Not at all. No need to lower. It already looks really good!

THanks for all the help! I'm going to get OEM and now I need to pick tires. Sigh, looking at Potenza S-03

Good choice. After seeing Monaco's threads about his nightmare with replica 166's, I wouldn't dare consider replica's ever again. Pay the extra money for peace of mind. Good luck and congrats!
