Recently the passenger airbag malfunction error came back. I'm tired of spending money on paying for the repairs. I read a thread about coding out the error awhile back, but can't seem to find it. I believe it's the oc3 mat sensor; the passenger airbag light is no longer lit which means the airbag light is on the ON position all the time now. Using INPA I am able to clear the codes, but it comes back on a few days later. So for those who coded the airbag error out using NCSExpert please let me know which ones to code out. Thank you

If you remove the indication and don't fix the problem then chances are the light will illuminate again. Have you looked into changing the mat? I heard that on some seats this can be done and others the mat is sewn into the bottom which really drives the repair up. I'm thinking I saw a price like 200 for a mat and then the install. Maybe a local upholstry shop..?

Thanks for the info but I had the mat changed out twice and am pretty fed up with it. So I am looking to code it out for good.

I have the same issue. I bought a Bypass from ebay and it was fine for couple of months. But recently the light turned on. I shut it off with the computer and now it stays off for 5 minutes and turns back on. I too have replaced the mat but it went bad after a year. I need to uncode this. The light drives me crazy...

When you used INPA, did it show a 93C3 error? Mine had this and 93C3 specifically points to the OC3 matt. The dealer replaced mine 2 years ago and have had no errors since.

Sorry for the late reply, I was out of town for the week. Just ran read error memory on INPA and here's what showed up
STVR/TEBF Error Code: 96CA 1 Error stored 60
This goes away after I clear the EM. According to balbs troubleshoot, it might not be the OC3 mat for me then. Anyone knows what this code means?
