A stupid question, how do I know my e60 production range ,

I just know the year is 2005 ....

can I check it out by using the VIN??

Check the B-Pillar near the door strike of the driver door.

Eh... do you lose the CD changer? or will the CD changer still function when you're not using the iPod?

Looks like it's one or the other. So if you have a CD changer you'll have remove it.

CD change does not work with this connector as printed in red. It's just ridiculous. I don't think this iPod adapter has a warm welcome from BMW owners. What the hell do you think are you doing, BMW?
